Hi guys, hope your all well, was wondering if I could get a bit of help, I went over to see ACAB today and tried turning her over, but as soon as I reconnected the battery the cabling to the alternator burnt out... turns out the f**king thing has internally shorted...
I've already got a replacement alternator on the way, but I'm not sure what guage the cabling was, can anyone gimme a heads up on what would be suitable to replace it with? |

I only need the one cable so theres no real point in replacing much else... I just need to know how much current that cable has to handle and I'll replace it in no time |

Battery to starter should be 4 gauge starter to alternator should be 8 gauge if you manage to fry the battery to starter lead i would make sure you connected the battery the right way around as that lead is normally good for around 200 amp _________________ Kronenbourg helping ugly people have sex since 1664 |

What im saying is the wiring goes from the alternator to the starter then to the battery. thats it. replace it instead of making a new one. _________________ Winner of the VBOA Chairmans cup 2010! |
