Yep, all that pissing about I did trying to figure out how the lower inner rear was supposed to look like - and of course the inner arches... _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

I had one for the passenger side of mine , picked it up at Billing years ago , because it was such a pain to use the whole panel I just used the the wheel arch tub with the lower rear 1/4 and the lower inner sill piece , made a very easy repair compared to fabricating new bits from scratch _________________ Old skool- New rules !!! |

I'd love a pair of them to match my quarter panels!
If you look at the bit that's always rotten inside the sills, it welds to the actual outer sill. You can see the spot welds on a mint car that's never had work there. _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |

Both sides are on ebay.de at the moment.
Add them to the boot floor that was on eBay.co.uk a few months ago and the two rear chassis legs Midland classic had - and the inner and outer rear valance which you can also get from Opel Classic, you got yourself a brand new Astra arse!
I've never seen a roof come up though - nor a floor... _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

You can see the spot welds in the Haynes manual.
Only chance of ever seeing them is if the car was wax-oiled to hell. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

Both of my estates, neo (the blue 5dr) and Ecks van had them visible. It's nice to see original spot welds in the archs and sills, then you know you have a minter. _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |

I might fake them then!?
A quick whack with a blunt round chisel should do it _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

Joking aside, you can see why that area dissolves. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

Ant, i've asked Opel about floors before and they can't find any record of them not even a part number. I think that part wasn't available as a whole. |

I'm not surprised tbh , although I did once see a brand new complete nova floor for sale at Billing ,probably just left over from the production line , not an actual replacement part _________________ Old skool- New rules !!! |

There was an Astra boot floor on eBay a few months ago.
It doesn't really make sense that the a-pillar and rear inner web is available as a part, but the floor isn't/wasn't. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."
