Worth whatever you want to pay for it really, they seem to have gone a bit crazy in the last year or so.
If it doesn't need work then I'd say £6-8k
But bare in mind that most of the gte's problems are hidden under sound deadening / carpets
One that needs work I wouldn't want to pay anymore than half that as by the time you factor in sourcing and buying the now hard to come by pannels, fitting, painting etc it quickly mounts up.
The big question is if the price bubble will burst, they've gone from £1-3k cars to some asking 10 in less than 2 years, possibly because people are realising the rarity, or because they've been priced out of Mk1 golf's and escorts. But will the prices stay high? _________________
