thanks for the comments Mark.

I'm not sure who's the quattro belongs to, the pic is taken at my brothers workshop in Maulden, probably a customer......
maybe you could mail him directly to find out thru his site or e-bay? www.calibrecoachworks.com,
How much you looking at for it?
Not sure what i want, i'll let the auction run and see what happens. I don't really want to sell it as it's in great nick. It's taken a lot of time effort and money and will probably never get back what i spent. But we'll see hey....
thanks |

not sure i agree with this attitude, tbh. if it's on ebay and it reaches the reserve price (which is unknown) then it should be sold, as you will have formed a contract with the winning bidder.
are you unwilling to divulge the reserve price? would you really sell if it reaches reserve or are you just "dipping your toe in the water" so to speak, to see what it's worth?
i don't want to start a flame war or anything - the car looks absolutely fantastic from the pics and i know my project won't be a patch on it when finished - but why bother putting a car up for auction if (potentially) you're not prepared to sell it? i might be interested (i'm not btw, i can't afford it! ) but would be discouraged from bidding if i think i'm wasting my time.
just a 2p-worth, i'm in a bit of a rant mode (you would be if you'd walked into our house and seen the state of it after a hard day's graft!!!) |

Um all he said is he gonna let it run to the end and he has right to not tell you the reserve.

true, but he said he had no idea how much he wants for it. the fact he has a reserve clearly shows he does have an idea of a price, does it not? on the other hand, he might not have an idea and could have set an unrealistic/daft reserve for all we know...
which is it? |

Gents
When you spend so much time on the restoration you never want to see it go.... I don't want to divulge the reserve price, but believe me, if an agreement is reached the car will be sold.
We will be taking on another restoration project, so need the space.
If you like the car and have some cash, get bidding.
thanks
