|
|
Right, I need help. It's about time I asked for something back from this club I need to get out of my unit, it's costing me too much.
Basically, I've got everything I need in my garage to build my car. Putting it together is easy, the bit I can't face on my own is stripping the old one down to a shell, cutting the cage out etc. etc. It's taking up too much room because there's effectively two cars in there, and the unit rent is crippling me because my mate who went halves on it with me has dropped me in the shit. All I want to do is get it to occupy one car space. If it's one car I can store it for free, and I won't have to sell it. If you do want to buy it, come down and view it. If you don't want to buy it, come down and build it. But for FUCK'S SAKE COME DOWN!! Last chance for me now, I really have had enough.
I was thinking of setting up a MK1 weekend. Beers, BBQ, phat beats, spanners, sparks and some of that old green jesus.
What y'all saying then? Come on people! Please? I don't ask for much. _________________

Next weekend ideally, and/or the weekend after that?
Forgot to mention also, that everyone who helps out will invited to drive the car on a day out probably somewhere in Wales. It will be good fun and no mistake _________________

i would, BUT (and there always a but) my weekends are chocca for the next couple of months - holidays etc. - so unfortunately i can't.
i'll be in need of help like this myself when mine's at a stage where it can cope with several people working on it at the same time (eg. paintwork prep). same sort of deal will be offered - alcohol, barbecue etc... she needs to be done before her 25th birthday next march and at current pace it's not gonna happen . |

Thanks chaps, I appreciate this like you wouldn't believe. Next weekend 19th/20th is sounding like it could be best for everyone? Brian, you've got dibs on the spare bedroom. Oh and there will be beer, don't you worry about that Bren, no problem mate, I'm more than happy to return the favour when you're ready.
19th/20th then? I'll get cracking this weekend so there's less to do.
