Confused decisions decisions Confused sold my truck still need to do the mk1 do I plod on at my slow pace or pay someone to finish the body work so it'll be ready for this years show?

dilemma's
1: do the welding buy the paint and try get it done in time for Billing?

2: pack it up send it to someone with a garage or lock up let them do the welding / spray job so i can have it back ready to rebuild before the show?

do the welding, get it road worthy. who gives a sh$t about paint! remember the aim was to build a dirty track car!

paint can come later, you wont be looking at the outside when your ragging the tits off it! Very Happy

Right done abit more on the mk1 but found more rot what do i do? the rot is on the inside skin of the sill near the rear wheel both sides to get to it i would have to either cut the rear quarter or replace the whole quarter after the repair to the inner sill Mad (I'm not good with body work that will be seen tho embarrassment )

I've had the same dilemma although mine's been in the garage for 12 mths. So a couple of weeks ago I took it to a garage and dropped all the bits off.

Told them to take their time and let me know when its done.

well now i have some money from selling my truck i was thinking off packing it off to someone to do so it would be ready for billing ? but not sure if it will be worth it or even ready in time, also limited to what i can spend as i need other bits for the rebuild.

P.s cheers Ben you know your welcome anytime to practice welding on it can't be any worst than me at it lol, also there is no stupid dog to chase all over the estate lol
