|
|
Right, due to financial problems (part of being unemployed at this time of year... blody bills) I'm selling my Feb 84 registered Vauxhall Astra GTE.
The car is being sold as standard, it's as standard as they come really (it's running a genuine vaux exhaust and suspension, not cheap at all). As Lee (Delmastiff), the previous owner can tell you it's a good car and certainly a good start point for a standard show car.
At the moment the car is running on Apex springs (-30mm more or less), full 16v brake setup with goodridge braided hoses and Dot5.1 brake fluid, and a drilled airbox. Unless you buy it before Pod, these will be coming off and standard stuff put on, the same goes for the Lucas metal coil, bonnet struts and polished oil filler cap.
I'm looking for £1000 |

Cheers mate
Btw, the foglight has been fixed and I have spoken to a dealership in Street, Dorset who said they know the car and one of the former owners really looked after the car, and it shows even after a total of 8 owners so far |

That is as it stands now. Steve only bought it off me late last year.
The service book is present and is FULLY stamped up until a couple of years ago.
The car was basically a two owner car with those owners having owned it for most of it's life and always had it regularly serviced.
I bought it from a lad down in the west country with no MOT.
A bit of welding to the floor pan was all that it needed for me to get it passed.
Good strong engine and pretty good bodywork. Worst area is drivers wing which has a couple of scabs and the tailgate could do with a paint IMHO.
I hope you don't mind me saying all this Steve! _________________

No, I don't mind, you go ahead Lee.
I've had it since late september/early november and it hasn't changed since I bought it so the pics from Lee are accurate |

I'm cutting one up for spares and rebuilding one. The whole reason for the sale is to get on with that rebuild whilst keeping my head above water financially |

I think that today (thursday) is a free listing day for cars on ebay, this is normally £6. Obviously you would still have to pay them the 5 percent final fee. Just a thought, do check if I'm right though before going ahead though.... _________________

today is a free listing day but you do not pay 5% fee with cars it`s a fixed price sliding scale the figures i ain`t exactly sure on but i think for a £1000 you would pay about £10 to £15 final fee. |
