looking to see if i can sell my zafira gsi before i break it , its a shame to realy as its a great bus.

its a black 2002 with 106k on it, its got stamped history up to about 80k , after that the last owner and myself have done it.

it has 2 mths tax and about 9 mths mot.

the alloys have been powder coated black , it has twin sunroofs and full heated leather.

bits done this year

2 front wheel bearings
cv boots
steering rack gaiters
full set of mintex brakes
new tyres all round
new cd player

it pulls and boosts as it should but there are a few niggles so its priced to take these in to account.

1. there is a vxr turbo fitted and it has started to smoke , only seems to be in morning once its been stood over night once reved it clears, oil level drops to confirm this

2. screen has a crack , it passed mot but was very close , i dont have cover on my police thats why it hasnt been done

3. small water leak (pipe on back of block a bitch to do but ill try and get it done )

4.power steering leak s a little have to top it up every month a bit, got a rack here that can go with car never botherd as its subframe off and its a very small leak

thats about it realy 4 very small niggles but i have used the car dailey for the last 6 months and she never misses a beat.
there is the usual small scrtches here and there but nothing major , most will polish off once ive done it

i have broken 2 off these and hit 3k on each in the last year , so am pricing this at £2500 , the plate spells kids and is valued at £800 that can go with the car , if not interest in the next week or so ill break it

Box is the same, but the ratios are different.

Shame your breaking it, I tried to get my workmate to buy it as he's after one.

its best to be broken mate turnes out it has a bad history when the new owner hpi d it Embarassed

i never bother when i bought it , it realy is a shame its a cracking motor

They both have SRT F23 gearbox's but the Zaf has a ratio of 3,95 and the coupe 3,63.

Does anyone know what difference that will make?
I'm in the market for a new one because mine is making whining noises in 1st and 2nd. The Syncro on 2nd is shot and the one on 3rd is pretty poor too.

Its not my fault the bloke who owned it before me was a loser. I've just added 40k miles to the box.

the gearbox with a 3.95 final drive will give better acceleration but a little less top end they probably do this to compensate the weight.

Never mind then. I do A LOT of miles on the autobahn and a shorter ratio box won't help things. I'll keep looking. Just out of interest Vern. Could you PM me with a price as to how much you would of let it go for? I have no idea what they are worth you see. Thank you.

they go for between 80 to 120 mate , contact cemex he is about to brake a low millage astra turbo pal

back up for sale whole now after 2 weeks sorting out a finance company that had a steak in the car , hpi clear now

will take £2200.
