Hi, yeah got pictures of the bulkhead with the engine out below for you.
I had to cut out the original bulkhead to get the engine back as far as I could also because it was badly rotten as well as the front floors. I remade all the bulkhead and front floors once I was happy with the position of the engine and box. I did start out with the 2.0 XE engine and type 9 ford gearbox in the car before changing to the v6. I did all this to get the engine front cylinders inline with the front srtut tops for better weight distribution. If you want anymore info get in touch

Evening people, been away for a bit but still playing with it
Was never really happy with the pedals and column position so I have started again nearly finished
Had to chop out a section of floor and tunnel to get a floor mounted pedal box in and thats 90% completed now, just got to re hang the column and weld in new brackets for it
Also sorted the throttle bodies out with a modified inlet manifold
Will post up picks in the next few days for you all |

Hi all, I would like to say it was mine sadly not. Mines been out last year but its back in the garage having some more fettling. Throttle bodies back on with 2.8 vxr injectors this time and with bodies dropped further down in the v of the engine. Floor mounted peddle box now which meant cutting out some floor and bulkhead to get it in, also moved the seat back and down by an inch and also repostioned the steering column and included a quick release boss for better access and egress which also allows me to fit the original dash back |
