under bonnet
large red from loom battery
good earth battery to body and to engine
black ignition live
in car
red and blue fuel pump
green rev counter
blue water temp
these are the main ones to get it running , depending on the model off your mk1 you will need to run wire to the clocks , there will also be engine management light , oil pressure you will not use all the wire in the c20let loom that comes into the car . where you based? _________________ the only car in the world "the mk1 astra" |

you might not find a proper black wire under the bonnet depending on the model, what engine did it have before?
There might be a black/yellow (electric choke wire) in the bay and I'm sure it's a permanent switched live (doesn't turn off when cranking the engine) so use that one,
I'm in Donny and my dad live in maltby, I know these cars wiring inside out so if you need a hand let me know and I'll pop round _________________ 1983 5dr project 1.4Ti in china blue
