Pulling my hair out with my van,
I need to wire up the management light to try and work out what going on. Which wire is it?
Much help would be appreciated. |

Thanks for that, I borowed a tech 1 today plugged it in but it wouldn't connect, going to try and wire up light, seem to remember a blink test or something, |

Yep if you earth out either the brown yellow or brown white (can't remember which) it should make the diog light flash _________________

Haven't been on for ages going to have a play with the van this week,
I need to wire up the light in the first place what colour wires are they so I can at least put a bulb in |

There is a space on the digi dash for the light, its the std symbol of an engine with a lightning strike through it iirc, the wire colour is brown with a blue trace to one side of the bulb, you need a switched positive feed to the other side. The diagnostic plug wires you need are brown/yellow, brown/white, red(+ve feed) and brown(-ve), all the others can be ignored, this will allow you to connect the car up to the Tech 1 computer at any vaux dealer for trouble shooting puposes.
