|
|
I have purchased an unfinished project, I am putting a standard 1.8 engine back into the GTE.
The engine and engine loom I have got is out of a cavalier and it has a relay and a main battery feed on the loom, with a 4 pin plug.
Does the mk1 Astra engine loom have this relay and battery feed on it? Or is it part of the vehicle loom?
I think I have found the plug on the car to fit the engine loom to by the right hand iner wing
Any help is appreciated _________________ r harrison |

On the astra the engine and car loom can be separated, but I can't remember how they are joined, although a 4 pin plug does sound familiar, they join near the ecu which just behind the fuse box.
The relay on the mk1 is in the engine bay near the header tank. _________________

All earth's as far as I'm aware are brown and in the engine bay for the engine loom.
Are they the power feed for the fuel pump? _________________
