Got up this morning and left the house about 830.
Drove 140 mile to gloucester,stopping off @ lil chef for brecky Cool

arrived @ gloucester just befor 12, and and reversed the trailer up to the lock up,and waited 5 mins 2 meet up with AL.

WHAT THE f#@k HAS HE DONE TO THE REAR QTR??? Shocked

GUTTED,as he'd towed the car around the corner,my heart sank and those words came straight out.

when he was towing down the back lane,he'd caught it on a low wall,n creased the bastid rear qtr mad

ANYWAYS
CHECKED her over in the pissin down rain,and she seems solid ,only needing slight attention to a few areas,but nowhere near as bad as the 1300.

im happy,THEN,al opens the garage door,n its ALADINS BASTID CAVE laughing

after an hour of sifting thru boxes and shelves,etc, i now have a van full of spares,including body kit,sill,rear lower corner,bonnet,gte engine with blydenstein head,,spare recaros,switches lights,4 front wings,front and rear bumpers,and a sh$t load of other stuff ive yet 2 see. including 2 BRAND NEW NEVER USED ALLOYS 1X GTE AND 1 SR Very Happy

THATS ALL 2 BE EMPTIED AND SORTED OUT TOMORROW

BLEW the head gasket(i think) Embarassed

but will have a proper look 2morro.
drove back straight down the motaway with no probs ,and got home @ 4pm
cars now on the driveway,and the greenuns going 2 the scrapper tomorrow!!!

Nice one mate, shame about the rear quater tho Sad

Take the rear card out and see how much of it will push out then get a tub of filler on it. That part is fairly easy to work on but that body line is a nightmare to get right. Best of luck! big grin

iv got a full rear quarter panel, not for sale tho. proper shame about the damage, it seams to be an SR with the gte bits fitted? could you not cut the quarter of the 1300?
