Its looking different hey! Not been on here for a while and the car has been absorbing alot of time + my dads recovering from a triple heart by-pass after having a hear attack so i've not had time to show my face on the forum for a while. Anyway, the bulk of the work is done, needs a little more tidying to the paint but im reallyt happy with the result and can't thank cookie enough for the effort hes put in! Top stuff cookie!!
(don't worry, that back bumper isn't staying on, need to refurb the metal one before its swapped over)
just the engine, interoir and suspention to crack on with now

No the mk1 was 871 dark silver from the mini coopers and this is daytona grey off the RS4's and what have you....quite a rare colour to see about....quite new still

believe it or not that used to be mint, but i'm planning to get it running with the XE in before starting to beautify it again... ordered some bits for it today so may even get it running before 2010![/img] |

i tend to use the OMOC occasionally, usually for finding out advice but not much more as some people on there don't like the fact its not a Opel and i haven't had it on the road for 3 years now.
Also have another '78 Cavalier hatch that i plan to sell soon (long story)... |

I think he means your Manta 1.8 sump and engine mounts and gearbox and stuff, you need them to put an XE in.
A P10 is a Nissan Primera, I haven't a clue what he's talking about either
