am after a bosch ignition amp for a 18e ignition system. I can get a part number if needed, but its the 7 pin one i need. Distributor is the vacuum advance with the blue 3 connector towe ...

was it just parts or a full car? coz there is a mk3 astra on mig that someone is breaking...parts goin cheap as he wants them gone quick. may just be me jumping on the first few things i see tho.

just after some pictures of how the distributor on the 18e (vacuum advance) should sit. Does it matter which way it goes?

yea all i had was the black plug with those 3 wires on it...was deffo off an 18e.

thanks for your help anyways...should be gettin a wiring diagram soon.

yea, that does help. but im still confused on the brown wire? does that go onto the coil or somewhere else?

And do i have to run another wire onto the black one from the ign live, and just solder ...

does it bolt to the inlet manifold or the engine block? if its the inlet, then i'm gonna have to make one up because i have a very non-standard inlet!!

i'm after the little metal bracket that attatches to the front edge of the alternator on the 1.8/2.0 8v and allows you to tension the belt.
