I've done all the measurements today it seems that the cav floor is a hell of a lot bigger than the Mk1 it seems that this is going to be more of a task then first intended but oh well I better get my finger out this car is deftly going to be ready for billing so i better start put the hours in big grin

Yes i did !! The width is spot on to fit between the inner sills on the mk1, but its way too long, i took 65mm out of the wheelbase by splitting the floor pan on the join in the rear footwell and cutting a slice out, then just shorten the bit behind the rear wheels until it fits, cant remember how much exactly to cut out but probs abot 200mm or so, hope this helps

Gearbox probably have to make a custom mount, we did. Rollbar I believe we moved up out the way and propshaft I'm not actually sure!

My 4x4 system was done for me by PTS Tuning (who no longer exist apart from mail order), they said the propshaft didn't need changing, not sure I believe that though! Will let you know when I offer it up properly in a few weeks time.

my anti roll bar was a one off made by a local blacksmith !! The rear engine mount i modified slightly so it sits on the passenger side TCA bracket at the bottotom of the engine bay, the propshaft will need shortening to suit the shortened floor pan and again, my tank is a one off as well
