well as it says above after another long weekend on the old girl she barked into life,

first off thanks to jon for sorting the tank and oil filter thread for me so that even getting it running was possible big grin

once again as we all know things take much much longer than you can plan for but caried on got the last of the wiring finished up, got the tank mounted, pump, filter and all the lines ran and connected up,

the above mentioned 8v oil filter thread so no oil cooler, motorsport shafts fitted front struts built back up and fitted so a rolling shell atleast again,

well i'm not gunna lie when it came to starting her i thought we had no hope, the engine hadn't been ran for 3 years, fitted with a ignition solutions dizzy and coil set up with a set of 45's bolted to her that i was unsure what were set to but somehow its fired almost straight up and ran what seems ok from what i could make out through the noise!! Dancing

also as luck was on my side my bodyshop guy could get it in at very short notice to jig up the front end wings bonnet etc, and do a couple of touch ups, even bigger result i collect it again tomorrow and its booked in for the exhaust monday

anyway i'll try and get some pics at the weekend

Well after a good 100 miles under her belt now glad to report no problems other than the oil cap I'm using doesn't seal 100% and I'm having issues getting the clocks to work correctly, basically they have a mind of there own I'm going to put this Down to a faulty set of clocks or damaged ribbons on the back but havn't looked into this yet,

Now I'm just going to try and pic of a few more jobs before the weekend see how far I get it's no where near finished yet but just pleased to be able to drive her

Think I'm going to loose a little off the rear springs by the weekend try and get it sat level atleast, it does drive so nice on the adjustable shocks, what we think another 10mm ???

As much as I'd like to do that matt I love the fact I can still drive some places at the mo,, plus my lock ups in a farm and it only just makes it up the track now lol

I did ring ray at Rayvern but he said I had to have Hydrolics due to the turret size which made me sad frown

Got a few more jobs done on the old girl this evening, the rears now sitting about 10mm lower with is pretty much where I want it,
I now have a working bonnet catch also adjusted up and latching much nicer now smile then moved inside and have wired up a wiring harness for the head unit as I had nothing originally hopefully have some speakers and everything tomorrow,,

Getting closer to the weekend but luckily the list is getting shorter,, how's everyone else doing???
