My vote is on a retro euro colour. Standard GTE colours are great on a GTE but a special van requires a special colour _________________ There's no such thing as a stupid question... Just stupid people! |

The 3dr estate used to be mine and now belongs to JonKadett who is having the same dilema at the moment as to what colour to paint it! I wouldn't personally go with that colour. China blue IMO is the most boring common colour. _________________ There's no such thing as a stupid question... Just stupid people! |

According to my 1983 colour chart the metallic green colour might be opal green or silver green and the only beige offered in 1983 was called Parchment. Some nice colours back then that you don't see often. I suspect a lot of the unusual colours may have been for the GL models. Not many GL models left these days. _________________ There's no such thing as a stupid question... Just stupid people! |

That looks good with all the colours together,
You say the beige in that lighter shade is down as parchment ?
I can remember cavaliers in the same shade as that german 3 dr estate if im not mistaken, just had a look and yes found this ...

The 2 estates you posted Paul are both mine. The green one and the blue 3dr.
I'm painting my 3dr estate in the metallic green! But I was going for beige. How strange!!.
Keep it white and fairly standard looking! _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |
