just been looking through the old haynes manual and in there it says that the gte could have either a 18s or a 18e engine? whats the difference

ah ithought i meant was a sport engine and one was economical engine whats the difference in compresion ratios

???????????? doesnt efct me with the black one as its running a red top engine, but would klike to know myself for my opel kadett gte!

Umm, I don't think there's such a thing as the 18S engine, the designation was 18E only, found in lots of different Vauxhalls/Opels, the E means it runs on fuel injection (can't remember the german for it though)
