MK2 and MK1 floorpans are exactly the same. I'd ask Vernon about the MK3 stuff, ring him up and tell him nip outside and shove his face under one big grin

Well how come a MK2 rear beam fits straight on a MK1 then?

I suppose it's possible that the top spring cup is different if the springs are different on a MK2. Try comparing the springs off a MK2 if you know anyone who's got any or do a search online, that'll answer your question Smile

In fact I've got a MK2 Haynes manual, I'll have a look in that for you later.

all mk1/2/3 and cavs are same at the bottom, i'm sure mk2/3 are same as they have the same front suspension setup iirc but very early mk2's were mk1 floor-panned!

We need a propper list of items that we mix putting in the guide area,

i'll start a new thread and so ppl can list parts they have fitted/mixed to use on mk1

MK1 springs are narrow at the bottom and wide at the top. MK2 springs are narrow at the bottom, wide in the middle and narrow at the top. Like Jon says you can cut and paste some later model shit on and use MK2 springs big grin
