Hi, please remove if not allowed.
It's a good while since I've been on here having foolishly sold my Celebrity a few years ago now. We all do silly things!!
This was mainly due to us relocating to Scotland and having no space.
Anyway, the last time we managed a brief visit to see family in between lockdowns, I rooted through my remaining spares I left in storage when we moved.
I have a few bits and pieces which may be of interest to someone.
There's a decent set of 5 "Hot Cross Bun" style 14" alloy wheels. 4 have the plastic wheel centres present, but it is the Opel Blitz so I guess they are Kadette.
They are in decent condition with no buckles or bad damage, just light kerbing damage to some and storage scratching etc. They are perfect for refurbishment for anyone looking for some for their project etc. I do have some photos.
I remember paying a good bit for them years ago as they were rare then, but I don't know if they're even desirable anymore.
Any ideas on their worth as they will have to go at some point?
I also have 2 1.8E engines more or less complete and both turn. However I don't know their condition but was assured they were good when I bought them. They do have inlet manifolds, injectors etc still fitted but have been stood in dry storage for years.
There's a couple of F16 gearboxes and a few mk2 cavalier driveshafts, springs, struts, steering racks etc.
The main problem I face, apart from the obvious lockdown, is that the spares I have left are a 300 mile round trip now, but space is needed where they are, so when we are eventually allowed to move around again I will be going back to clear out then. Probably looking at mid March as it stands.
It's so long since I posted on here I don't think I will be allowed to advertise anything for sale at the moment, hence the rather rambling post here to see if there's any interest in any of the above bits.
As I said, please remove if I'm breaking any rules.
Thanks for reading if you're still here at this point.

Hi mate, the "Hot Cross Bun" wheels you have listed are not GTE wheels but SR or GL wheels.
Not many people go on here very much you best to join the Astra mk1 group on facebook.

Hi,
Cheers and thanks for that.
I had an idea they were probably SR ones with the centres having the Opel Blitz on them.
Don't know if they are worth anything, but I'll take your advice and go onto the Facebook page.
Cheers Mark.
